Thrombin generation measurement (CAT Stago)

CAT can measure the concentration of thrombin in a plasma, it is a functional test of the hemostatic system. CAT allows the measurement of thrombotic states or haemorrhagic tendencies of both genetic and acquired origin. It allows the monitoring of antithrombotic, antiplatelet or haemorrhagic pathologies. The measurement of thrombin generation can be performed in plasma or in a platelet-rich plasma if one is interested in the roles of these.
