Administrative Coordinator of Research Projects

Amandine Baron obtained the title of Doctor in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Caen, France, in 2009. During her thesis, she worked on the involvement of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) in neurotoxic processes, in particular cerebral ischemia, under the direction of Professor Denis Vivien, in the INSERM U919 SP2U team, GIP Cyceron in Caen. From 2009 to 2013, she was scientific director of the pharmaceutical company Kelia in Saint Malo in Brittany, France. During these four years, she managed research and development projects for natural anticancer peptide drug candidates as well as the development of preclinical models. Recruited in November 2013 in the research unit, she is now the administrative coordinator of research projects under the direction of Dr. Christian Gachet.
